Weight Loss Update./Youtube

5 Steps to Get Healthy

Getting healthy has been one of the biggest struggles for me. I am working on a healthier me and so far, it is going good. I am in no way an expert or know everything there is to know about getting healthy. I just know what I have done and how it is working for me. 


1.  Eat healthier. I know this seems obvious but most people do not realize how bad they really eat. It adds up over time and that is one of the biggest reasons people struggle to lose weight. I do not eat out anymore and I am limiting my unhealthy snacks. I am trying to make sure everything I put in my body, is good for me.

2. Workout. I know most people hate working out and I am among them but it helps. When eating right combined with working out, the weight just goes away. I workout 5 days a week for at least a hour a day.

3.Be more active. If you do not want to workout, just be more active. Take the stairs instead of the elevator, walk to the office instead of riding the bus, get up every hour and walk around for 10 minutes. 

4. Get others involved. It is hard to lose weight when you are the only one trying to do it. At work and at home, work on getting others on their way to a healthier lifestyle. At my work, we have a walking group for 30 minutes during lunch.

5. Don't deprive yourself. When I want something bad for me, I let myself have it. I find that if I deprive myself, I will binge eat and that is just as bad. I prefer to have a smaller portion of something than binge eating later on. 


These tips have helped me lose a good bit already and will help me lose even more. Let me know some tips you have to get healthy!

My Favorite Country Music Stars

If you have read my blog for any amount of time, you would know how much I love country music. I am a big country music lover and I go to many concerts a year. I try to do anything I can to see my favorite stars. I enter contest from online to radio ones and go to any I can afford to go to. I have a set of artist I love the most though.


Miranda Lambert...
She is amazing. The first time I saw her in concert I was blown away. She made me feel amazing and was all about girl power. She doesn't need a man to make her feel good, she sings what she wants and she tells it how it is. She is by far the fiercest country singer out there.

Thomas Rhett...
I won a contest back in January and I was able to workout with Thomas Rhett and his crew.Most people wouldn't think about having an amazing workout with a country singer but it was by far one of the best moments in my life. I have seen him a few times in concert and he is always amazing.

Luke Bryan...
I have not seen him in concert YET but in a week I will. THANK GOD! He is an amazing singer and has an amazing booty. What more do you need?

Jason Aldean...
I have seen Jason Aldean in concert a few times and each time he gets better and better. He has an amazing show, nice tight jeans, and he always includes the audience.

Loving Myself

Trying to make myself happy is one of the hardest things I have ever done. Since January, I promised myself this would be my year. I wanted to lose weight, find myself, do things I love, and just make myself happy. In life, we always try to make others happy first and I am trying to put myself first for once. It is a long process and journey.
 
Starting in January I cracked down on myself about losing weight. I was at my heaviest weight and was not happy. I was very much in denial about it and it took the scale to really show me how much I had gained. I have lost some of the weight, I am almost half way to my goal weight and I already feel amazing. 
 
I workout 5-7 days a week for at least a hour each time. Every day I get up and do my hair and makeup, even if I am not going anywhere. I can look good if I want to and for myself. I am trying to wear clothes I would not normally wear because I was not comfortable with my body.
 
 
  I still have a ways to go on this journey, but I am already happy and my confidence is much better than it used to be. I am an amazing person and I only have to prove it to myself!

Running Gear + a question

So I finally broke down and bought some new running gear. Now I did not buy new shoes or anything but I did get a new Fitbit (the Alta) and the GoPro Hero camera. I am super excited to try both out. I have been wearing my new Fitbit all the time. I was shocked at how amazing it was. It tracks everything! It knew I was on the elliptical at the gym yesterday! It also lets me know when people call or text me. I would highly recommend getting the Fitbit Alta! It is worth every penny you spend on it.
 
I also got the GoPro camera. Now, I have no idea how to use it but I am learning and so here is my question, what should I film? Also if you know of any tricks or tips for using the GoPro let me know below! I am hoping to learn it quick! I am trying to be more on active on Youtube and would love some ideas on things to film that you want to see. So, let me know below what things you want to see filmed. I am up for anything from Q/A's, makeup stuff, even hair stuff. Just let me know!
