Why must the weekend go by so fast? I had a good and fun weekend with Chris. We didn't do a ton but just spending the time with him is enough for me. I cherish every moment I get to spend with him. We have lost some dear people to us in the last few years and it really makes you see how short and valuable life can be. There is no need to waste the time fighting or not getting along. You just need to take a step back and realize how much you really have and how lucky you are.
Friday night we went on a double date with some friends. We never go out anymore and I was so happy to get out of the house and have some fun. We only went to dinner but that was enough for us. We went to Outback and let me tell you, that is honestly one of my favorite places to eat. If you use their app to check in, it cuts the wait time in half AND the food is amazing.
Saturday was a lounge day. We did nothing but watch House all day Saturday and snuggled with the dogs. On House, there was a girl who was a blogger and blogged about every little detail of her life. I love my blog but I will not share everything on it. I think some things are better off left private. I love my readers and if you want to know something, just ask!
Sunday we went and got Chris some new shoes finally. I did not know how bad his old sneakers were until we got in Kohls and I actually saw them. Boy was roughing it. We also went to the Good Will. I normally don't shop there but I found an amazing Ann Taylor dress and I plan to wear it after I wash it a few times. I am a germ a phobe.
Last night I planned on watching Grease Live! I did not get all the way through it but it is DVR. I loved what I saw and my favorite was Vanessa Hudgens. It was awesome to see her as more a mean girl and she can really act. I am excited to finish it tonight! Let me know if you watched it and how you liked it! Leave me a comment!
