I started weight watchers last week. I used to say I would never join something like Weight Watchers, but I finally did it. One of my best friends uses it and has done well with it. I thought, why not give it a go! I am glad I did. Here is how it works: I signed up for just the online version. I am not going to classes. I only pay $19.95 a month. If I cut out the bad food and coffee I have, I am still saving money. Weight Watchers gives you points. You get so many points a day that you can use and so many weekly points in case you want a cheat day. So far, I have only used 2 weekly points. Most fruit and vegetables are zero points! Win win there!
In 1 week I have changed my eating habits so much. I am eating so many more fruit and vegetables and so much more often than I used to eat them. I am walking more than I used. I take the stairs at work, no elevator for me. I also don't ride the bus to work anymore from the garage. I walk. I am hoping if I stick to this plan, I will see some weight loss and be able to help my PCOS at the same time.
I will say I was shocked at how bad some things were. I have 28 points a day I can. When I looked up a wrap with cheese, lettuce and lunch meat, it took a good bit away. I was very surprised at how bad it really was for you. PSL...that is not happening this year. They take about 8 points away and no coffee is worth that. I try to save my points for the end of the day for dinner!
I hope to stick with this and to have an amazing success story from it. I can only go up from here and with making lifestyle changes, I will succeeded. Is anyone else on Weight Watchers? If so, let me know how you like it!
