So this is a pretty fun link up. Dating Disasters.
Allie and Brin put together this pretty fun one time link up. You put in your dating disaster and link up.
My lovely bad date goes all the way back to high school. I was crushing on this boy in my class and was pretty nuts over him.(It was bad..believe me) Well I got the chance to go on a double date with him as long as one of my friends went on a date with one of his friends. (I will leave all names out for identity purposes)
So I conned my friend to go on the date and all the details were hashed out. I believe we were going to Applebees and a movie. The night came and my friend came over to my house. It was starting to get close to the time to meet the fellows and we had not heard from the guys so I called the friend of my date. No answer. The time came for pick up...no guys. At first I thought I was stood up. I was not happy. I then tried one more time to call..because then I was like my dream date was going down the drain. Who happened to answer the friends phone? A police officer! The boy had been arrested for stealing from Walmart...and not only had he stolen..he stole boxers and a cell phone charger! Who does that?
I was in shock(but glad this was not the guy I was crushing on). I then had to tell my friend and call my crush...who let me tell his mother. She called the other boys father to let him know.
The date was not happening then. The date never happened after this. I never got my dream date with my crush but I became great friends with his family..odd? I think it is for the best this date never happened! So does this really count since the date never really happened?
